thursday: teaching and making baguettes & baking cookies with my boys

friday: receiving a compliment on my running and accepting it. along with that noticing that my early & freezing morning runs are paying off.

saturday: cooking classes and cupcake wars

sunday: nfl playoff games

monday: seeing 11 bluebirds on my run and making the best batch of granola to date

tuesday: patty

wednesday: letters written on the back of recipes, dessert recipes

grateful for....open hearts!

So this is me, admitting to an absence from this blog... trying hard not to feel a kind of embarrassment about how excited I was to report about a grateful thing per day... OK Anna, it's been days and days and days.... : ) Days into weeks into a month! (blush)

I am grateful for so much, truly. I am grateful for friendships, and the way I can share what I am grateful for, simply by LIVING it.

Because- dear friends, right now I am grateful for my LIFE. I am grateful for the way that I can desire communal living, and friendship that flows through my home... and then it unfolds.... it happens!

I am grateful for a home filled with aliveness, with life, love, open hearts and a place for hard topics and weighty matters to be discussed. And for these hard topics to be met with loving kindness and tea and coffee.

It is my sincere desire to continue the flow of this life in my home on into my new home. It brings me alive, and I can't wait to see what all comes of it! 

week 8

thursday: direction east and clean teeth
friday: being told the choice is mine and picking mediterranean
saturday: much...breakfast & coffee with many, snowy walks, new homes, coffee, greek lunch, thrift stores, fires, thai dinner, trader joe's, late nights, home
sunday: being picked up 13 and a half miles from where i began
monday: knowing that i accepted well, what was given well
tuesday: long distance coffee and granola

week 7

thursday: a day off and a little extra sleep

friday: "hug or high 5" option at the end of the day, when i send kids home after having been a substitute in their class.

saturday: watching my nonexistent basketball, but full of smiles on the court gene be passes on to one of my boys, but also know that same boy received his shot from his dad, equaling a fairly decent, smiling little ball player

sunday: finally getting a vegan, no added sugar/sweeteners granola recipe to work and writing it down

monday: snow days with my boys and skippyjon jones

tuesday: watching my boys sled and play outside, knowing it means rounds of hot chocolate throughout the day

wednesday: baking hostess gifts and smuckers peanut butter jars and my adventures with chas and the tooth fairy.

week 6

thursday: the bulk spice section at mama jean's

friday: the end of 2010 and 17 miles in a tank

saturday: parades, channelsurfing.net, snacks as meals, football bowl games, pj's, tub soak, naps all equaling new years day

sunday: letter writing

monday: the excited feeling i had when it was time to pick my boys up from school

tuesday: the people i have met in airports, traveled with and still have in my life

wednesday: chaos and questions bringing me to a point of beginning to understand. (kind of)
